A 39-year-old garment trader was allegedly stabbed to death by unidentified men near his house in the J-extension area of East Delhi’s laxmi Nagar on late Sunday night.
Police said the deceased has been identified as Subhash Yadav. Police have registered a case of murder at the Shakarpur police station. Sources said the motive behind the murder could be personal rivalry as Yadav dealt with a large sum of money with his partners on a regular basis. CCTV footage and call detail records of the victim are being scanned.
According to police, the incident took place at around 10:30pm at the J-extension area of laxmi Nagar where Yadav lives with his family.
