A fake company allegedly duped an East MCD school teacher of Rs 27 lakh on the pretext of asking him to invest in various schemes under Prime Minister Vikas Yojana offering him high interest rates in return.
The school teacher, Ajay Kumar reported the matter to the Anand Vihar police station.

They induced me to invest in the trust by saying that if I invest, I will get a house at less rate from the current market price.
The first meeting took place in Community Center in Karkardooma after which several meetings took place in a five star hotel in Vaishali.
However, I got the biggest shock when I called up Yashpal. He did not take my calls. later when I went to their Anand Vihar office, I found it to be latched from outside.
The incident took place few meters away from the Anand Vihar police station.
Pleading the police to help, the teacher even mentioned that he is depressed so much so that “I am contemplating suicide”.
