The Durga Shakti Force, which was recently formed for the protection of women, thrashed a woman over jumping a signal at Aggarwal Dharamshala chowk on Thursday morning. The victim has filed a complaint against the guilty women personnel at Civil lines police station. The victim was going to her children's school located at Sector-15 when the incident took place.
The victim has been identified as Seema Aggarwal, a resident of Roshanpura in Gurugram. She alleged in her complaint that, “At around, 11.30 am she was going to her son's school located at Sector-15 on her scooty to take him home. When she reached Aggarwal Dharamshala chowk she jumped a traffic signal as she was getting late to ferry her kid.”
By seeing this two Durga Shakti Force personnel later identified as Sarita and Ranjeeta allegedly misbehaved and slapped her several times. “When I objected to their ill-treated behaviour. The duo tried to flee the spot in the PCR but mangled with a private bus from the back side. The front part of the PCR was badly damaged in the incident,” the victim said in her complaint.
later the woman explained the entire incident to her husband Amit Aggarwal and filed a complaint against the police personnel at Civil lines police station. Some eyewitness said the police took the custody of the bus instead of the PCR.
“A complaint has been received in this regard. The matter is under investigation. Action will be taken as per the law if the personnel found guilty,” said Subhash Boken spokesperson Gurugram police.
