A 20-year-old Delhi University student sustained critical injuries after allegedly falling from the third floor of Vivekananda College at East Delhi’s Vivek Vihar area on Thursday afternoon. According to police officials of the East District, the girl was standing at the window grill when she accidentally fell downstairs. Police said they rushed her to the Max Hospital at Patparganj where she is undergoing treatment and is stated to be critical.

“In the preliminary investigation, it appears to be a case of suicide,” said a senior police officer.
