'Dikshit blind to countrywide unrest after case judgement'

SR

Seeking apology from Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit for her remark about 1984 Sikh riots, BJP on Wednesday on said the statement made by the CM is like rubbing salt on wounds of Sikhs. Member of National Executive of BJP and Co-In charge of Jammu & Kashmir (BJP) RP Singh said that it is unfortunate that Dikshit can not see countrywide unrest among Sikhs and others after the judgement in which Sajjan Kumar was acquitted.

“She claims that Congress never gave tickets to those involved and Congress is not encouraging the accursed. She forgot that even in the last parliamentary election, tickets were given to the accused and Congress was forced to withdraw the candidature of Sajjan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler following the nation-wide protest by Sikhs,” he said.

“Sikhs till date in their daily Ardas still recall sacrifices made 400 years back, to protect the Indian culture and against forcible conversions during the Mughal rule. So how does she expect Sikhs to forget and forgive genocide which happened just 29 years back perpetrated by Congress, for which justice still eludesIJ Singh said.    SR
