Huge quantity of counterfeit Red Chief shoes were seized from a shoe trader in Inderlok area of North Delhi at the instance of M/s leayan Global, the manufactures of well known shoes Red Chief.
The search and seizure was conducted in furtherance of order passed by court of Anil Antil, the Additional District Judge (ADJ) of Saket Court in a Civil suit filed by the company against the shoe trader of Inderlok area of Delhi who selling counterfeit shoes and slippers of Red Chief.
The seizure was conducted by the Court Commissioner Shivani Joshi, Advocate, in presence of advocate of the company Anil kumar Sahu, and its representative Manoj Singh.
Advocate Anil Kumar Sahu said, there complaints in respect of fake Red Chief Shoes being sold in the market of Delhi and NCR areas. After proper investigation, the company filed a civil suit against the shoe trader operating in Inderlok area.
The court, after hearing the submissions of counsel for the makers of Red Chief Shoes and being satisfied about the existence of a prima facie case, restrained the defendant from using, selling, marketing, trading fake Red Chief Shoes and appointed Court Commissioner to seize the all such products from his premises, Sahu added.
