As the Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra turned a year older on Tuesday, scores of Congress leaders, party workers and supporters across the country greeted her and tweeted warm birthday wishes. Delhi Congress vice president and senior dalit leader Jai Kishan distributed blankets, sweets and fruits among needy and underprivileged patients admitted in Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Mangolpuri, Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital in Pitampura and Rohini Lord Maharishi Valmiki Hospital of Puth, including Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital.
“Due to Corona virus across the country, the party worker has done this program with limited number and very simplicity. Our leader always works for the poor and underprivileged and hence We are distributing blankets to save them from cold,” Jai Kishan said. The Congress leader hailed the Gandhi family contribution in Indian Politics. He said that under Priyanka Gandhi leadership, the Congress will perform well in UP’s next polls.
