“Earlier, Modiji said he did not go to college. later, he showed correspondence course degrees which were found to be fake,” said the Aam Aadmi Party leader.

Asking why the Prime Minister is reluctant to show his degree if it is genuine, Kejriwal said the country has every right to know about PM's educational qualifications.

Kejriwal also demanded that PM Modi's lawyer Tushar Mehta reveal the PM's degree in the Gujarat High Court.

Criticising Modi’s decision to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes, he said his educational degree should be revealed at the behest of the decisions which he makes for the

country.

“Modi had explained that remonetisation will curb black money and terrorism, and while 12.5 lakh crore has been collected,” said Kejriwal, adding the PM should not use this money to excuse the loan of his “rich friends”.

He further said, “The Prime Minister should instead help farmers and small traders by excusing their loans. The money which has been deposited by the citizens should be used for their welfare and not the Prime Minister’s rich friends."

Kejriwal also tweeted, “Modiji degree case in Gujarat High Court today. He sends his best advocate Tushar Mehta to obtain stay on disclosure of degreeIJ WhyIJ Degree farziIJ”

“Whole country is reeling under demonetisation. People want know educational qualifications of PM. Does he understand economyIJ” he tweeted.
