lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, his secretary and other officials waited over two hours as the CD submitted by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal could not be played for two hours. The CD was found to be corrupt. Jung and his officials were keen to watch the ‘sting operation’ as alleged by AAP. Hence, they decided to play the CD after Kejriwal left Raj Bhawan on Wednesday.
Sources said that the staff of Raj Bhawan tried its best to play the CD but in vain. They then contacted Kejriwal and informed him that the CD in question was not playing and they needed it to be replaced. AAP leader sent another CD at around 7 pm then only the lG could watch the entire sting operation in which Delhi State BJP vice president Sher Singh Dagar was recorded with AAP MlA Dinesh Mohania. Dagar has allegedly made an offer of Rs 4 crore to the AAP MlA for switching loyalty.
