Taking over the probe of the blind murder case of software engineer Ankit Chauhan, the CBI on Thursday quizzed Noida police. Chauhan was working with TCS and was shot dead by unidentified assailants in his SUV at Noida Sector-76, intersection on April 13 last year.

A six-member CBI team from Ghaziabad on Thursday reached Noida Sector-49 police station. The official quizzed Station House officer (SHO) Dinesh Yadav and DSP Sanjay Singh for over three hours at the police station. The officials have taken the files of the case in their possession and took the details of the investigation in written as per the HC direction.

“Four days ago, CBI officials had come to take files of Ankit Chauhan murder case. On Thursday, the officials came to communicate with us in this case and took a brief status report investigated by Noida police,” said the DSP.
