In an initiative towards economic offences, the Economic Offenses Wing of Delhi Police has designed a Economic Offences Awareness Rath - 'Prabodhini' in collaboration with State Bank of India for public awareness.

According to Anil Mittal, the Additional Public Relation Officer (APRO) of Delhi Police, this vehicle is equipped with all necessary and modern Audio-Visual Aids.

“With the help of this awareness rath, sincere efforts will be made at the malls, parks, colleges, schools and other public places to make public aware and alert about the economic offences by providing them the latest information,” said Mittal.

“Prabodhini will play vital role in establishing active communication with the public at various places for imparting knowledge through short films, course material and mass interactions. The various economic offences will be explained in detail with regard to the preventive measures to be taken against them,” said Anil Mittal.

“The questions and doubts of the people pertaining to these offences will also be addressed appropriately. The representatives of Reserve Bank of India, SEBI and other Financial Institutions will also be included in this

Awareness Campaign.  This is a special initiative of Delhi Police for value based Social Consciousness and Meaningful Engagement with more and more people,” Anil Mittal added.
