Delhi Cabinet on Tuesday approved student passes in AC and cluster buses, this further means that DTC pass will now be applicable in “Red” and private cluster buses. The student passes would be issued to all beneficiaries institutions in accordance with the said Regulation. The reimbursement of subsidy to the DTC will be done as per the prevailing pattern. “These passes shall be available to the bonafide students of educational institutions in Delhi,” said Delhi government spokesperson.
Soon after the cabinet decision — Delhi transport Minister Kailash Gehlot tweeted: Student Bus Pass will be valid in AC Buses also. Lots of students had met @ArvindKejriwal Ji and requested for this. Delhi Cabinet has today approved the proposal.
