Students who aspire to pursue Bachelors in Management Studies (BMS) course in Delhi University can start applying for it online from June 7 till June 18.

The forms will cost Rs 500 for General, OBC, children of war widows (CW) and Rs 250 for SC/ST and Physically weak and disabled (PwD) candidates. This is the only course of DU undergraduate programme for which an entrance test will be conducted by Faculty of Management Studies (FMS). The entrance test will be held on June 26 from 3 pm to 5 pm.

The admit card will be delivered to the candidates through email between June 20 and 22. However, instead of an interview, there would be counselling of selected students during admissions to colleges. “Entrance test results will be declared on July 4 and list of candidates selected for first counselling will be put up by 5 pm,” a university official said.

The first counselling will be held on July 6 and two days time will be given to the students to take admissions. FMS will announce 2nd list of students for vacant seats, and hold further counselling sessions if required. For instance for the first counselling, qualified students will have to take admission on July 7 and 8 between 10 am to 1 pm in the respective colleges.

On July 8 evening at 5 pm, the status of vacant seats will be made known by FMS. Other counselling sessions have been scheduled for July 10, 13 and 17 respectively. The course will commence on July 21. The BMS course was introduced in the last academic year and is offered in Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, College of Vocational Studies, Deen Dyal Upadhaya College, Keshav Mahavidalaya, Maharaja Agrasen College and Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies. In total there are 840 seats for the course in these six colleges.
