Former Union Minister and Congress candidate from New Delhi constituency Ajay Maken while lashing out at Bharatiya Janata Party
(BJP) said the BJP is trying to hide it’s failures by raking up non issues instead of addressing people’s issues, boosting economic activity and employment.
Maken on Tuesday undertook various padyatras and addressed public meetings in Rajinder Nagar and Delhi Cantt Assembly area.
Holding BJP led Centre Government responsible for manhandling and beating traders protesting against sealing in Mayapuri, Maken said that correcting these faulty economic policies would be the top priority of the Congress Government if voted to power.
Maken said that economy is not safe in the hands of Narendra Modi government. “It is Congress which has large team of economic experts like Dr Manmohan Singh, P Chidambaram, Raghuram Rajan guiding it to bring India’s economy back on track,” said Maken.
Attacking BJP MP Meekashi Lekhi from New Delhi, he said that she believes that Narender Modi’s name was enough to get her re- elected.
