BJP top brass reach out to Dalit, share food

SR

Expressing solidarity with people from the weaker section and Dalits, the Delhi BJP on Sunday organised a large public gathering wherein senior party leaders participated and had food together. BJP president Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Vijay Goel, Balbir Punj, Ram lal and Kalraj Mishra among others joined the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajnath Singh accused the Congress-led UPA Government of ignoring the interest of the weaker sections of the society. He said the Congress party, during it’s over 60 years of rule, did nothing for upliftment of the downtrodden especially the Dalits.

Delhi BJP president Goel said the party would provide free education and medical facilities to the members of Dalit families. He also announced that the electricity tariff in Delhi will be slashed by 30 percent if the BJP was voted to power in the upcoming Assembly Elections. SR
