leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta on Monday said the BJP will go to the Election Commission against the AAP naming the Government Schemes after its own name.
“The naming of Aam Aadmi Bus Service by AAP Government as not only immoral but also legally untenable, no political party can exploit its name to gain popularity at the cost of Government schemes and revenue. We will take up the matter to the Election Commission and will request it to restrain AAP from misusing its name. He said that in the history of India, no political party has misused its name the way AAP is using,” said Gupta.
“No political party should promote itself in the name of government schemes and funds. But AAP is unscrupulously exploiting its name. It has already opened 22 half cooked Aam Aadmi clinics against 1,000 full-fledged clinics. The AAP Government has started Aam Aadmi Bus Service but actually withdrawn 1,000 buses from roads since it came into power,” he added.
