Ravinder Gupta , Pradesh General Secretary, said, “These leaders stayed away for some time from the party but in the next Lok Sabha elections in 2019, with the slogan of “Namo Again”, they will work to make party stronger.”
Gupta also said that no former BJP leader is allowed to rejoin party in absence of a written request showing their intension to rejoin and faith in its leadership and ideology they are inducted in party.
“The reason behind taking request in writing is primarily to check their real intension to join the party or whether they are in talks with others or not. Another reason is that they should not backtrack from their decision. Party also giving then joining letters,” he said.
When asked about the development, Manoj Tiwari, the President, Delhi BJP, said, “The party is expecting all of you to work in the field from today with the full potential and full skill, forgetting all the differences and take BJP ahead,” Tiwari added.
