Delhi BJP MLAs will meet President Draupadi Murmu on Tuesday to demand removal of the AAP Government over a host of issues, including corruption charges against the Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the liquor and education scam.
According to Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly, all the BJP MLAs will gather in front of North Block at 10:15 am and march from there to meet the President. AAP MLAs will meet the President of India on Tuesday.
“We will submit a memorandum to her for the dismissal of the Kejriwal Government involved in corruption in Delhi,” said Bidhuri, BJP MLA from Badarpur.
The BJP leader on September 3 said that the ruling party has misused the Delhi Assembly and wasted five days in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lieutenant-Governor (L-G) Vinai Kumar Saxena bashing.
Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Delhi Assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri said, “Kejriwal is acting like Hitler. The Sheila Dikshit Government called a special session of the Assembly thrice in her 15-year rule.
But Kejriwal has called the session over 10 times in just seven years and used the opportunity to criticize the Centre.” he said.
The BJP leader further said that along with the use of abusive language against L-G, the files sent to him are not even signed by the Chief Minister. “Cabinet notes are sent to them after the Cabinet meeting. In view of all these illegal activities, this Government should be immediately dismissed,” he demanded.
He said Delhi Government Minister Satyendar Jain is in jail for more than three months while the CBI has registered an FIR against Sisodia in connection with irregularities in implementation of the Excise Policy.
“The CVC has exposed the education scam of this Government. A DTC scam and Delhi Jal Board scam have also come to the fore. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal neither took any action against his tainted Ministers, nor removed them from his Cabinet.
The Kejriwal Government is providing full protection to corruption,” the LoP alleged.
He accused the AAP Government of “indulging in corruption and murdering democracy in Delhi by ignoring all rules and regulations”. “That is why, this Government should be dismissed.
