Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and MCD in-charge Durgesh Pathak on Tuesday said the party councillors will protest the decision of the BJP-ruled North Corporation to sell lands of organic limited commercial complex, Naniwala Bagh, commercial complex near Azadpur and Novelty Cinema building.
Pathak said, “In the last 14 years the BJP has completely ruined the MCDs. The schools, hospitals and all the other institutions under the MCD are in massive trouble. If you look at the MCD hospitals you will see that the doctors and the nurses are protesting for their salaries.”
The AAP leader said looking at the situation, the north Corporation has decided to sell everything before the upcoming election.
In the last 14 years, the BJP has finished most of the things in MCD but the only thing which is still there is some of the lands. BJP is targeting those lands now.
The AAP opposed the proposal today and demanded immediate rollback of these proposals, he said.
