Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay on Wednesday directed all the three municipal corporations to intensify their efforts to tackle mosquito menace in the national Capital. The party also set up a Control Room in the party office and formed a task force to monitor the crisis situation in the city. They will work from 8 am to 8 pm
Taking a swipe at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Upadhyay said that AAP Government, which always fights for rights and powers, has failed in the health care sector, which is under its complete authority. "Every year task force was formed to tackle such diseases after the monsoon but this year it was formed. Though it had become clear about the impending outbreak of dengue and chikungunya in Delhi by the end of July, the Delhi Government did not make any arrangements for additional beds in the Government Hospitals. Mohalla clinics have also proved to be just a noise," he said.
All the councillors and senior office bearers of the party have been instructed to concentrate on sanitation and public welfare works, said Upadhaya adding that the party will organise blood donation camp on September 17 to mark to the birthday of Prime Minister Narender Modi as Sewa Diwas.
The Delhi BJP has also decided to organise a Blood Donation Camp at Pradesh Office on the September17 for the benefit of the people suffering from dengue and chikungunya.
He also said that a task force headed by pradesh general secretary and MP Ramesh Bidhuri has been formed. The contact numbers of control room are 23712509 & 23712323. During emergency at night, people may contact pradesh general secretary Ashish Sood (8130892117) & vice-president Kuljeet Chahal (9811123041), he said.
