Senior Aam Aadmi Party ( AAP ) leader and MCD in-charge Durgesh Pathak on Monday said that the BJP-ruled MCD first broke the ancient Hanuman temple of Chandni Chowk and now accusing the AAP to avoid the public anger over this heinous crime.
“To hide this reality from the people of Delhi with the help of Delhi Police the BJP demolished this temple when everybody was asleep,” Pathak said, “Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta and other top leaders of the BJP are directly responsible for demolishing this ancient Hanuman Temple; AAP demands that stringent actions must be taken against these leaders for committing such a heinous crime.”
“It was BJP ruled MCD who demolished the hundred-year-old ancient Hanuman Temple located in the Chandni Chowk area,” “Now to divert the attention of people from this heinous crime committed by the BJP they are falsely accusing the AAP,”
“ it is very clear that this ancient Hanuman temple was demolished by the BJP ruled North MCD. It is also very much known that this comes under the jurisdiction of the BJP ruled North MCD. The BJP has demolished this ancient Hanuman
Temple with the help of police during midnight,” the AAP leader said.
He said, “On behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party I am saying this on the basis of concrete proof. The BJP ruled MCD has recently submitted an affidavit in the court where they have clearly noted that this Hanuman temple was built in an encroached area.
Pathak said, “Adesh Gupta is a very senior leader and also a councillor of the BJP ruled North MCD. He is well aware of the fact that this demolition is being done by the BJP ruled North MCD with the help of Delhi Police which comes under the BJP ruled central government. Now the BJP is trying to divert the attention of the people and in a very fabricated manner, they are accusing the Aam Aadmi Party of this heinous crime,” Pathak added.
