Reacting to the Budget-2018 proposals of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari said that AAP Government was less focused on budget proposals and more on heaping critical comments on the lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.

Tiwari's statement came after when  Sisodia mentioned in his budget speech that  AAP Government is allocating Rs 1000 crore funds for reconstruction of  MCD roads but we (AAP govt) need No Objection Certificate (NOC) from l-G and MCD to pursue the work.

Government termed it “Green budget” but it looks like a Red Budget, “ Tiwari said, “from working on pollution control to ration distribution, this budget seems concentrating on privatizing the services and it seems that the Kejriwal Government now wishes to play Kick Backs game in connivance with the private companies.

“Delhi Government has announced schemes without the constitutional approval due to which ultimately the people of Delhi will be disappointed,” said Tiwari. “ The Government has allocated only Rs 1500 crore rupees for the development in this area but the Government is mum on the regularization of the colonies,” he said further.

The Government is proposing E-Buses a small E-Vehicles for the Delhi's Transport System but there is no provision for E-Charging for these vehicles in the Budget. They are proposing international schemes for the control of pollution but has failed to explain why it could not utilize the amount collected as pollution cess,”  the BJP leader said.

Shiromani Akali Dal-BJP MlA from Rajouri Garden Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that it lacks mechanism to implement the announcements made by the government. “It was fundamental formula of the AAP to make loud noises and perform little and this has been adopted in the budget itself. “Delhi people are well aware that this government failed to utilize Rs 2000 crores of Green Cess for curbing pollution on National Captial and it was only after courts and NGT jumped into the matter and directed the government to take steps, it was forced to use these funds,” Sirsa added.
