A 31-year-old businessman with Rs 50,000 bounty on his head was finally caught by the long arm of the law. He had been evading arrest for the past 18 months by changing addresses frequently. Delhi Police smoked him out of a hideout in Jaipur. He is wanted in a rape case filed at Shalimar Bagh police station.

Gourav Tuli, a property dealer, had reportedly drugged a woman and sexually assaulted her. Subsequently, he, along with his cronies, sexually abused the woman several times over and clicked objectionable photographs.

“The accused fled Delhi to hide in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan till he was collared,” said Ashok Chand, Additional Commissioner of Police. It was under intense police grilling that Tuli confessed to having come in contact with the woman when she was living alone and struggling to make ends meet.
