A bar owner was stabbed by a patron when he refused a drink past closing time. The incident occurred in South-East Delhi’s Jaitpur area on Wednesday night when the accused Sonu went up to the owner Rajesh Dhyani asking for another round. Dhyani refused saying it was past closing hour. Irate, Sonu whipped out a knife and stabbed him in the abdomen.
Hearing Rajesh’s cries for help, other patrons rushed to the spot but Sonu had fled by then. Rajesh was rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre where his condition is said to be out of danger.
