Under the Delhi Development Authority’s (DDA) ‘Awas Nivesh Yojana’ 2026, more than 2,500 Low Income Group flats were booked within two hours of the commencement of online bookings on October 20.

Booking for 2,516 LIG flats in Pockets 3 and 6, Sectors G2-G6, Narela, commenced at 12:00 noon on 20 October 2026 through the First Come, First Serve (FCFS) mode. Under the scheme, the flats were offered at a flat 25 percent discount, with the tentative price starting at Rs 14.95 lakh per flat. Of the total flats, 1,020 are located in Pocket 3 and 1,496 in Pocket 6. According to a statement, the DDA said that the strong response reflects the demand for affordable homes and the confidence that homebuyers continue to place in DDA’s housing initiatives. By making homes available at affordable prices, the scheme seeks to enable more families to realise their aspiration of owning a home in Delhi.

Narela, an emerging sub-city of Delhi, holds considerable potential for planned urban growth. DDA is continuously working towards the development of infrastructure and civic amenities in the area to support its transformation into a well-planned residential destination.

“The strong response also underlines the growing attractiveness of Narela, which is rapidly transforming into a major residential, educational, institutional and sports hub. DDA’s sustained investment in infrastructure and connectivity is helping position Narela as one of Delhi’s important future growth centres,” it said.
