Amid reports of a pregnant woman being wrongfully diagnosed of thalassemia at Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinic, the Delhi Government on Tuesday dismissed them as rumors in a bid to “deliberately defame mohalla clinic concept”. Recently, doctors at Rohini-based mohalla clinic had diagnosed a pregnant woman as a thalassemic patient. In another case at Nihal Vihar mohalla clinic, doctors are said to have presented a wrong blood report to a patient.
Patient Mausam Kumari, who had visited the Mohalla Clinic situated at Block F of Sector-16 in Rohini, was diagnosed with thalassemia. But when she visited lal Path labs, the result revealed that she was not suffering from Thalassemia.
