The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), in its bid to showcase the accomplishments of the Delhi Government in last three years of its governance, has planned a “Vikas Yatra”, across national capital on Sunday.

On 14 February, the AAP-led Delhi Government completes three years in office. “To commemorate this, the AAP will start a campaign to make the citizens aware of the pro-people’s work done by the elected Government of Delhi in its tenure so far,” said Gopal Rai, Delhi Convener of the AAP. Vikas Yatras will be conducted in each Assembly constituency of Delhi and all party MlAs, Ministers and functionaries will meet the residents of Delhi and share the details of all the ‘good’ work done by Arvind Kejriwal Government in three years.

“In each of the 70 Assemblies, the party will conduct a Vikas Yatra which will be led by the party MlAs, Ministers and senior leaders. The aim is to establish a dialogue with the residents,” said Rai.

“In the second phase the party functionaries will meet the residents of their areas, especially ‘booth in-charges’ will meet the citizens of their areas and will share all the work done by the Delhi Government. They will also take the feedback of the residents and convey the same to the Government,” said Rai.

“We have delivered almost on all the commitments made in our election manifesto,” he said. Rai enumerated some of the 'hallmark' achievements of the AAP Government.
