Amid  the controversy of Chief secretary Anshu Prakash allegedly assaulted by AAP MlAs at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence, another AAP MlA Naresh Balyan from Uttam Nagar justified the beating and claimed that the officials who sit on the files should be thrashed. Accusing the Chief Secretary, Balyan who MlA from Uttam Nagar seat, said that the officials who obstruct the implementation of government's welfare schemes should be thrashed.

He further added that the officials are not letting CM Arvind Kejriwal's scheme reach people as the AAP government has put a ban on the previously prevalent 'setting' and the 'commission' system in the bureaucracy.

"They are taking up to three to six months for doing work which should be done in three days. WhyIJ Because Delhi Chief Minister abolished the commission system which earlier reigned. And as this system was eradicated, they (bureaucrats) started sitting on the files.

"Whatever happened to the Chief Secretary...I say they should be beaten up, they should be thrashed... Whoever obstructs the work being done for the common man, should be meted out the same treatment," Balyan, the legislator from Uttam Nagar constituency, said at a public rally of the party.

Meanwhile, AAP Chief  Arvind Kejriwal, while addressing an event to mark the 142nd anniversary of Sant Gadge Baba, said that he will continue his fight against the lG, BJP, Congress, and the Delhi Police in order to make welfare schemes reach the people.
