More than 500 drivers and conductors of cluster buses (orange) seated on dharna at Jantar Mantar extended their support to Aam Aadmi Party in the forthcoming elections after its leader Arvind Kejriwal promised to help them as soon as his party came to power.
Criticising Government for its bluster on providing non-stop bus service, they said the Government had turned a deaf ear. Being employed on a contractual basis, these busmen are exploited and not given benefits like medical (ESIC) and EPF.
