A three-year-old girl was allegedly raped by 18-year-old youth in Sadarpur village of Noida on Thursday evening. Police said that the minor girl had gone to watch television at a neighbour’s place. Victim’s elder brother found her in an unconscious state with blood stains when he reached home.
The police have arrested the accused and he has been identified as Vishal (18).
According to the police officials, the incident came to light around 8 pm when her elder brother went to take her back from the neighbour’s place but found her on bed in an unconscious state. Taken aback by his sister’s condition, he raised alarm and called the police.
Police said victim’s father had gone to work and mother to the market. The victim was rushed to a private hospital where she was provided with medical aid.
The victim told that while her three brothers went outside to play at 5:30 PM, Vishal who lives in the same building lured her inside his room on pretext to watch television.
The accused later closed the door from inside and then raped her. Victim also told that the accused kept her hostage for one hour and then fled the spot. later, villagers nabbed him late at night when he came back home and beat him badly.
“We have carried out her medical examination. We have also recovered the accused cloths with blood stains. We have registered an FIR against the accused under appropriate section. The matter is being investigated by police.” said a senior police official.
