Three South Delhi residents have been sentenced to imprisonment ranging between three and six months and asked to pay a heavy fine for stealing electricity by a special court.
In a separate case, two persons were convicted and sent to a two-month judicial custody by another special court in Karkardooma for stealing a BSES transformer in the Mandoli industrial area. A fine of Rs 2,000 each were also imposed on them. The South Delhi cases were handled by a special court in Saket, BSES said.
