North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NMC) on Wednesday sealed 25 properties in Kashmiri Gate, Tagore Park, and Kirti Nagar areas.
A senior NMC official said the officials of building department took the action following the direction of the ‘Supreme Court Empowered Monitoring Committee’.
Meanwhile, East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) did not carry out sealing drive due to unavailability of Police force. Though, the civic body had planned to carry out massive sealing in its areas.
Thousands of shops and properties have been sealed in the drive which was started in December last year by the Municipal Corporation for
violating norms of ‘Master Plan 2021’.
