A 24-year-old youth was allegedly stabbed to death by unidentified assailants on Sunday evening at Chattarpur area of national Capital.
The deceased has been identified as Gulshan a resident of Mata Chowk in Chattarpur.
According to a senior police official, they had received a police control room (PCR) call regarding a man lying in pool of blood in his home following which a team rushed to the spot.
“On the spot, Gulshan was lying dead with several injuries on his body.
During initial investigation it was revealed that her mother Jaya returned home at around 11 pm and saw Gulshan lying on the floor of the house following which she informed police,” said the senior police official.
“The deceased was on bed rest for a longtime after he had met an accident last year. Initial probe suggest that he was killed due to personal enmity.
A case had been registered and police have also detained one suspect identified as Suraj for questioning.
Police team is also scanning CCTV cameras in the area to identify the assailants. Further investigation is going on,” said the senior police official.
