BJYM men protest against Cong double standards

Alleging rampant corruption by the Congress-led Government in the Centre and doublespeak of its leaders, the youth wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged a protest on Thursday. Scores of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) activists protested against Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi alleging his party’s lacklustre attitude in fighting corruption and at the same time safeguarding those involved in the Adarsh Society scam. “The Congress should be clear on its stand. It cannot project itself against corruption and at the same time protect those against whom corruption charges are leveled. It reflects double standards of the party,” the BJYM said through a Press statement. The protesters marched from BJP’s office at Ashoka Road towards Gandhi’s residence, but were stopped by the police.
