A 19-year-old youth was shot at by a Personal Security Officer (PSO) of a Delhi based businessman in a road rage incident in South West Delhi’s Delhi Cantonment area. The incident took place on Sunday night and the PSO was arrested from the spot.

Police said that the victim has been identified as Vikash, a resident of Uttam Nagar and working in a shop in Sarojini Nagar market. The 29-year-old accused Somdev is a PSO of South Delhi based Hotel owner. “The incident occurred on Sunday around 10.30 pm on Ring Road (between Dhaula Kuan and Narayana) when the accused along with his owner was coming in their Skoda car from Green Park and heading towards Rohini,” a senior police officer said.

The victim along with his three friends was retuning home. “Vikash thought that the accused was trying to hit his bike and after intercepting the car, they stopped their bikes in front of the car. They attacked the PSO after a heated argument with him and in the mean time the PSO took out his pistol and fired on Vikash,” the officer added.     SR
