One person died while six others suffered burn injuries when a high voltage wire fell on them at a farmhouse in Outer Delhi’s Alipur area on Thursday.
According to a senior police official, the deceased has been identified as Danish, while the injured people have been identified as Malu, Imran, Anwar, Anas, Usman and Mustakim. All of them are from Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh.
The police official said a local saw the incident and reported the matter to police around 3:15 pm after which a police team reached the spot and rushed the victims to the Raja Harish Chandra hospital where one person was declared brought dead by the doctors.

“A crime team reached the spot and started investigating the reason behind the accident. A case under relevant sections was registered at the Alipur area regarding the matter,” said the police official.
