Zee Institute of Creative Art (ZICA) is a leading full fledged classical and digital animation training academy that trains youth in classical 2D and modern 3D animation. The institute lays emphasis on the principles of art and design and fundamentals of classical animation, while also applying the same knowledge to computer based animation.

He further said that BSc in animation and visual effects provide complete knowledge on 2D classical and digital, 3D animation and visual effects. The first semester covers fundamentals of art and design. The second semester includes 2D classical and digital animation. The third semester covers all the elements of 3D animation, so that the student is capable of developing 3D short films. In the fourth semester the student is exposed to a detailed curriculum of visual effects. In the first semester the students’ chooses any one of four specialisations including modeling and texturing, lighting and rendering, rigging and animation and compositing and VFX. In the sixth semester the student builds a portfolio in this selected module.
After completion of the three-year courses in BSc in animation and visual effects, the emerging students would have a clear understanding of animation and VFX production pipe-line, thereby carrying the ability to become a crucial part of any animation or VFX film. Students would fit in as all-rounders as the course exposes them to both animation and visual effects. The graduate will also have the maturity and the knowledge to lead a team of skilled artists to deliver the required animation or VFX. The emerging graduate can find a place in any studio developing animation/VFX films, advertisements, content for e-learning contents for game and TV, contents for game and TV, content for business applications.
