A few days after revoking the suspension of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Chandresh Kumar Yadav, the State administration has appointed him additional secretary of urban development and information technology. He has also been made the project director of Uttarakhand Urban Sector Development Agency (ADB). His suspension had been conditionally revoked earlier on Wednesday.
Yadav had been suspended in the NH-74 land compensation scam during September. A charge sheet had been filed against him after his suspension. Yadav had submitted a detailed explanation responding to the charges levelled against him to the Government, based on which the suspension order had been conditionally revoked. The other IAS officer suspended for alleged role in the NH-74 scam- Pankaj Pandey is still under suspension.
