A district level sensitisation workshop on prevention of female infanticide and declining sex ratio was held at the auditorium of Mahant Indiresh Medical College on Tuesday. The participants would be informed about the provisions of Pre Conception and Pre Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act during the workshop.
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Dehradun Dr Y S Thapliyal said that the workshop is being organised on the occasion of National Girl Child Day. He said that radiologists, gynecologists, the members of district inspection and evaluation committee, students of medical and nursing colleges and officials of education department would participate in the workshop.
