The Vice Chief of Army staff, lieutenant General Sarat Chand held a courtesy meeting with the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Trivendra Singh Rawat at the Chief Minister’s residence in provisional State capital Dehradun on Friday.
The Chief Minister got information about the army recruitment process of the Vice Chief of army staff. lieutenant General Chand informed the Chief Minister that the Indian Army is making the process for recruitment application online so as to make it convenient for the youth to fill forms and fulfill other process. He also requested the Chief Minister to facilitate block level centres for making the army recruitment application process online so that the same can be made accessible to the candidates conveniently. The Mussoorie MlA Ganesh Joshi was also among those present on the occasion.
