The Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Stayzilla.com — aggregator for verified homestays in India to jointly promote and market home-stays in Uttarakhand.
According to an official release, UTDB chief executive officer Shailesh Bagauli said,“These are interesting times for Uttarakhand tourism with growing influx of tourists from across the country and we are working towards strengthening our home-stay eco-system. We believe that our partnership with largest aggregator of home-stays, Stayzilla will be beneficial for offering best-in-class stay experience for tourists.”
Under this agreement, Stayzilla will support verification procedures and jointly boost home-stays across Uttarakhand. All home-stays registered with UTDB will receive technological and operational support to run the home-stays. Also, Stayzilla and UTDB will jointly conduct education and training sessions for UTDB registered home-stays on best practices such as online usage, content management, operations and expense management.
