A Workshop on ‘Implementation of Neural Models for Pattern Recognition’ was organized at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) on Friday. The workshop was organized by the ‘Centre for Computation Research’ in association with the ‘School of Computer Science’ (SCS) and ‘School of Research and Development’, UPES.
The Director - Media, UPES Arun Dhand informed that the technical coverage at the workshop included introduction to Soft Computing techniques, neural network modeling, architectures, learning laws, supervised and unsupervised learning, feed forward neural networks, pattern mapping, pattern mapping network and Pattern recognition concepts.
Forty participants, comprising of faculty members and research scholars from SCS and School of Engineering and 11 students participated in the workshop.
Assistant Professor, SCS, Sachi Chaudhary was the keynote speaker on the occasion.
