Also they will be making the Arsas for the festival. Also one can order this traditional dish  to be gifted to their near and dear ones for the upcoming festival.

She said that Indira Amma canteens would  open in all the 13 districts of the State in the coming days. “Soon, members of a self- help group from Nainital will  come to our canteen to learn and get the managing guidance from our staff,” she said.

As the canteen has extended, making it  difficult to monitor things CCTV camera will be installed soon, she informed.    Speakers would be there  all over the canteen so that she  could instruct others, she added.

“Quality of the food being appreciated by the people, many are demanding for the dinner also. However, ours being  an all-women unit,   we cannot serve the dinner as it would be difficult for us  to get back home,” she said.

“We faced problems when the canteen was shut for a  few days because of the extension work. We were left with no choice but to eat at some other places. It impacted our pockets as  the meals  there cost us  much more,” said Nisha,  who works in  the subway near Clock Tower.
