Uttarakhand chief secretary Rakesh Sharma’s mother expired while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Delhi on Saturday night. Uttarakhand Governor KK Paul, Chief Minister Harish Rawat and many others have expressed their grief at her demise.
Udham Singh Nagar- Nainital MP Bhagat Singh Koshyari, chief minister’s adviser Ranjit Rawat, Uttarakhand director general of police BS Sidhu, bureaucrats and officials were among those who attended her cremation at Nigambodh Ghat in Delhi on Sunday.
The chief secretary’s mother Satya Devi was aged 85 years and had been undergoing treatment for about a fortnight at a private hospital in Delhi.
