Citizens including tourists faced a tough time in lake city due to Nainital bandh on Tuesday. The bandh call was given by traders on Tuesday in protest against the district administration's anti-encroachment drive.
Following the bandh call all major markets in lake city Nainital remained closed on Tuesday. So due to closure of shops citizens of the lake city experienced a tough time as they could not purchase even their daily need items. More so, visitors including tourists also faced a harrowing time due to the bandh call. It is to note that there is huge resentment among the traders particular the street vendors of late due to this anti-encroachment drive in the lake city Nainital.
