The Doval Junior adroitly avoided the question of his possible candidature from Garhwal lok Sabha seat of Uttarakhand in the general elections 2019. With the incumbent Garhwal MP B C Khanduri publically declaring that he would not contest the next election, speculation is rife that Shaurya Doval could be his replacement. On Monday, he, however, said that he is merely a worker associated with a mission when asked about his political plans.
