Following the direction of the State Government, Tehsil Diwas programme was held at Dehradun Tehsil on Tuesday. Out of 20, nine applications received from the aggrieved people were addressed by the district officers on the occasion while 11 applications left out were transferred to departments concerned with the direction to have them addressed promptly.
Dehradun DM Chandresh Kumar directed the district officers to ensure that the complaints received from the people are addressed at the earliest. The district officers should maintain transparency while addressing the people's concerns. Out of 98 complaints received during Tehsil Diwas for the last two months, 69 had been addressed by the district officers on the spot while remaining 29 complaints are still pending. He directed the district officers to conduct surprise inspections in the departments and submit the reports on 3rd of each month.
