A private construction company has created a two story building, comprising three rooms within minimum possible time: 10 days. If the BSF authorities okay the structures, prepared for demonstration purpose, the company would build several other structures for the newly-coming up battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF) in Doiwala area.
Using factory made modular steel structure, wherein a single unit is manufactured in 20 hours, the company constructed a G+1 House for Border Security Force (thro NBCC) at Doiwala within 10 days. “We had successfully manufactured this house and commissioned on site with complete fixtures and finishings in just span of 10 days from the receipt of work order. The same is ready for showcase and ready to move in,” Chief of Operations of Mohali-based construction giant Synergy Thrislington Yashjeet Gupta claimed.
He claimed that house was quake resistant and constructed using innovative technology that keeps it hot during winter and cool during summer. He claimed that the company might develop 10,000 such houses in a span of six months. He claimed that the houses were most suitable for the hilly areas.
He further added that this recent innovation of fast track construction technology (where in construction shall be shifted from site to factory) shall reduce construction span from years to days and shall help in rehabilitation of Uttrakhand.”
Gupta further claimed, “The housing construction technology, first of its kind in India, will be unique in many ways. Besides being an ultrafast technology to deliver concrete house in hours, this has got multiple advantages in terms of being cost effective, earthquake resistant (approved by CSIR SERC Chennai), fire resistant, sustainable and green.”
Director General Border Security Force Subhash Joshi would inspect the structure. If he found the house suitable, the company would go ahead constructing as per order placed by the BSF. Gupta said that the technology would create a revolution in construction of the houses.
