The manner in which the process of on requests transfers was abrupt halted has aroused the ire of teachers and their organisations. Alleging discrepancies in transfer requests, the education minister Arvind Pandey on Sunday had declared that the on request transfer process has been stalled.

Terming the order as unfortunate and a mockery of system the President of the Rajkeeya Shikshak Sangh (RSS), the association of government school lecturers and lecturer Teachers (lT) , Ram Singh Chauhan said that the order should be taken back. He said that the on request transfers should be completed within the original time schedule. Chauhan said that while the government on one hand has stopped the process of on request transfers it on the other hand has started reinstating teachers transferred in previous regime. The President of RSS also expressed anger on the statement of Minister regarding irregularities in transfers. He demanded that if it is true then an in-depth inquiry should be ordered on the matter and names of the offenders should be made public.

The General Secretary of the association, Sohan Singh Majila said that the grievance redressal cell in the directorate should also be dissolved. He said that some of the teachers appointed in the cell are trying to create a wedge in the association and these teachers should be immediately sent back to their original schools.

Majila said that no positive action is being initiated by the new Government on the demands of the teachers. The association has convened an emergency meeting of its State and District executive on
