The voices of resentment are emerging from the teachers on the order which prohibits them to use mobile phones in schools. The issue was raised in the state level meeting of the Rajkeeya Shikshak Sangh (RSS), which was organised at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) here on Sunday.
The District President of RSS Chamoli, K K Dimri told The Pioneer that the order to impose ban on mobile phones is wrong. He questioned that when other Government employees are not restricted to carry mobile phones why teachers are specifically ordered. Dimri said that teachers should not use the phone while teaching but they should be allowed to carry them on the campus.
